Karly Allen - Administrator, BA, MA, Ed.S, Oregon certified; Karly Allen is an administrator from Tillamook, Oregon. Karly grew up in Tillamook and received her B.A. in Psychology and M.Ed. in Curriculum & Teaching from the University of Oregon. She most recently earned an Ed.S. in Educational Leadership & Principal Licensure from the University of Northern Colorado. Karly taught elementary for 7 years and previously held an administrative position for 2 years. Outside of being an administrator, Karly enjoys going to the gym, hiking with her dog, beach visits with family, and offroading with friends.

Katrina Gerding—Classroom Teacher, BA, MAT, Oregon certified; Katrina Gerding attended Lourdes from first through eighth grade, followed by Regis High School, Gonzaga University for her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology, and finally George Fox University for her Masters of Arts in Teaching. She was commissioned into the United States Army Reserves in 2010 and is currently a Major in the Oregon Army National Guard. Ms. Gerding has been teaching at Lourdes for four years and enjoys working with the Upper Room students immensely. When she's not teaching or working for the Guard, Ms. Gerding spends her time with her six kids and her husband Tom on their small farm.

Kevin Locke —Classroom Teacher, MS, Oregon certified I am a dedicated teacher from Dallas, but currently residing in Albany, Oregon, with a passion for education and a love for engaging my students. With experience in retail and customer service, I bring a strong understanding of how to connect with people. I am particularly skilled in mathematics and enjoy finding creative ways to make learning fun. Outside of the classroom, I love spending my time enjoying movies, playing board games, and diving into video games. I also have a deep appreciation for nature and often spend my weekends hiking and exploring the beautiful landscapes around me. I believe in fostering a positive and supportive learning environment and look forward to collaborating with parents to help our students thrive!

Karen Van Vlack—Classroom Teacher, BS, Oregon certified; Education: Bachelor of Science from Corban University, Bilingual/ESOL endorsement from WOU, Med from Corban University in Curriculum & Instruction Experience: I have taught for 25 years in the Salem Keizer School District as a bilingual/ESOL and non-bilingual teacher of Kindergarten and First Grade I have taught at Lourdes for 3 years, one as a TA in the primary room and 2 years job-share primary room. Interests: I enjoy reading historical fiction, music and sewing as well as walking & hiking. I love teaching kids and seeing how much they grow during each school year! I also love learning right along with the kids!
